Poor Brady is not having a very good game so far and his future brother in law is raping him raw with no lube. I thought this would be a very close game but Notre Dame is giving up too many big plays. OSU's defense is pretty fierce and if not for some OSU turnovers it could be a lot worse than 21-7 OSU right now.

As for Brady...all I have to say is don't hurt my baby. I have a love jones for him because he's a dead ringer for my ex. ::sighs:: So cute. 6'4 231 lbs of PHOINE!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Brady is the only thing he will be getting for a while. Brady's sister looked none too happy with the sacks! biggrin.gif

What a frustrating game. Twice in the fourth quarter OSU escaped third and long situations; the second time it should've been a sack. Instead, the QB completed two passes for first downs, and then that damn run......

<sniff!>

Honestly...if you look at ND's schedule...the teams that they beat weren't really all that impressive if you look at the records of the opposing schools. I expected OSU to win the game but thought it would be close. OSU allowed ND to hang around and ND just didn't capitalize. I wish I could console Brady.

I was at the game, and we didn't get a good view of Gonzalez's non-fumble... the one that Zbikowsky ran back for a TD, until the officials decided Gonzalez had never had possession in the first place, so it was an incomplete pass rather than a fumble. They only showed one replay at the stadium, and it was hard to tell. Did anyone see it replayed from various angles? How'd it look to you, what did the sportscasters have to say, etc?

Thanks!
Matt

Yeah, I saw that replay a few times on the telecast. The receiver caught the ball on his arm and then took a step, but as he took a second step, the ball started to bobble. He then lost control of it and it came out for the fumble. I'm not sure what the rule is for how long someone must have control of the ball before it is considered a completion, but he had it for at least one step, but not quite two. It really looked like one of those calls that could have gone either way in my opinion.

I was pulling pretty hard for ND but unfortunately that was a drop. The officials made the right call.

Quinn's sister is dating AJ Hawk from OSU.

Bummer of a game. Not just the result, but the game wasn't as good as I thought it would be. OSU outplayed ND much more than the final score would indicate. Still it is nice to have Notre Dame back among the top teams. But I couldn't believe when I heard they've now lost 9 straight bowl games!
