Full Version: Rex Grossman's Father

Did anyone else notice Grossman's father during the Heisman Trophy presentation? I just kept thinking, "That is such a nice looking middle-aged man." I think Grossman is a little plain looking or slightly unattractive, so I was surprised by how attractive his dad is. What caught my eye was the t-shirt he was wearing under his sport coat. It was black with all this sparkly stuff all over it, which seemed somewhat bizarre. It appears that poor fashion choices run in the family. Rex's shoes were all wrong for his suit, and today on the BCS show he was quite underdressed. He had on a polar fleece thing while the other Heisman candidates were dressed quite well.

Jesus Christ, I think that was the funniest posting I have ever read. I watched both of those shows and didnt notice clothing at all. I didnt know the fashion police were in attendance. Man, I just hope poor Eric's mom's purse matched her shoes.

Hey MBMslJock, it's SammyJ's first post and you're all over him with sarcasm. Give a guy a break.

SammyJ, welcome, it really is a very friendly board. In fact, many of us do share your interest in humpy middle-aged men with bad fashion sense... biggrin.gif Keep posting, buddy!

I missed the show, but I heard that someone needs to tell Ms. Sanchez NEVER to mix a knockoff Hermes 'Grace Kelly' bag with Manolo Blahnik high heels !!!!! biggrin.gif

Note the resemblance?

Here's some info (seems he could afford a personal shopper at Barney's or Bergdorf Goodman's Men's Store).....

Daniel Grossman, M.D. established The Eye Center in July 1980. He graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington and the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. His residency in ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, was followed by an internship at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. The American Board of Ophthalmology certified Dr. Grossman in 1981. His specialty within ophthalmology is cataract surgery.

Great responses to my post! I don't take offense to any of the comments. In fact, after I read it again I realized how campy it is. I normally don't notice fashion but couldn't disregard the attire of these two men. It's an opportunity to put your best foot forward, and Grossman didn't look the part. I was mainly commenting on the father, who is quite the dashing gentleman (even if he wears sparkly t-shirts).

Sammy, this is a real funny board and people love to give each other shit. I laugh at most things I write and read. Have a good time on here. Mbmsljock is my best friend and you should see some of the outfits he comes up with. If it isnt sleeveless, he doesnt wear it.
