I think if Miami loses today to Louisville it is curtains for Coker. The fan base will want blood.

Amazing too.
Honestly, if the fans run Coker out of there successfully, I hope Miami gets a coach that runs them into the ground multiple years. Coker gave you guys multiple National Title Appearances.
Nothing makes me more angry than people who run out successful coaches.

Anything less than a BCS Bowl game is a defeat for Miami alumni. This year is definitely an off year. Isnt it pathetic that 2 years of 9-3 seasons would get a coach fired. Unless he wins the rest of his games and the ACC championship, he is all but gone. The editorials will crucify him this week.

Rumors are that U.Miami is having a trustees meeting early this week and some type of press conference.....??

Awful.
Coker should take the National Title trophies with him if he's forced out.

He is all but gone...either in the next few days or at the end of the season.

If they fire Coker, who do they think they're going to get in there? "Sorry, but 9-3 isn't good enough!" Who would work under that pressure? I can't imagine championship-caliber coaches like Carroll, Richt, Weiss, Stoops or Tressel wanting to go there. An assistant coach from somewhere? An NFL coach? Seriously, who do they think will come in and take over that program?

I hear Rich Rodriguez is God, so he might do.

The perennial rumors that Donna Shalala will again try to recruit Barry Alvarez are flying around the badger boards.

Rich will retire in Morgantown. FSU wants him badly to replace Bowden in the next couple of years. That won't happen. WVU's his dream job.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if Shalala gets rid of Coker before the news media finds out. They had a lot of talks with the ACC before the news caught wind of things.
I think Coker is safer than most people think. Al Groh and Cuck Amato have more things to worry about as they have losing or not so great seasons too frequently for what they're getting paid.
