For the past week or so, Paul LoDuca's pending divorce and accusations of gambling have been all over the New York tabloids. At first it was said he only bet on horses and at legal casinos. But now it looks like this could get serious. According to an article in the NY Daily News, at least twice during the past year bookies have come out looking to collect on gambling debts.

Only time will tell if it's true or not. I know he does own and bet on horse racing, I've seen it first hand myself. He owns the horses in partnership with others, and had his silks with the Dodgers logo on the back. I haven't followed his runners, but I am sure he has since ditched those dodger silks

There certainly seems to be smoke, if not fire. He's rather an overrated player too (his .320ish BA is rather empty, ie power-free)...
