NY Times Magazine called

The article makes a good point. Expensive sports at every level is a luxury that we in the USA indulge in.
I would enjoy watching sports just as much if the price of a ticket paid for the entire enterprise. That of course would mean drastic changes in the organization of sports in this country.
It would be intersting to speculate about that.
