There's a little-known story about Holtz' and Spurrier's friendship - Spurrier and his wife, Jerri, arranged special care for Beth Holtz at UF's Shands Hospital when Mrs. Holtz had her earlier cancer surgery.

Best of luck to Coach and his wife. Don't want their career to end until they're ready for it.

Recent news is that Beth Holtz got good reports from her doctors and appears to be doing well.
