It is the start of "gator Hating" week. The trash talking has already started in this morning's Miami Herald.
Miami Herald - Brock Berlin's article Lastly, from the uf faithful about the croc cover page on the media guide.

Guys ... I am surprise that we do not have any further posts to this thread. Is anybody going to the "Big Game" in the Orange Bowl?

Here is today's feature story in the Herald ... Classic!

Is there any way they BOTH can lose?
I am surprise that I did not see any "lewd", "crude", or "sexual harrassment" comments about the picture of Brock. What is the matter ... guys? The dude is one hunk of a man!!

your right JT, Brock is one sexy guy!! I think hes going to be a very good qb too. Go Canes!! and Brock looks damn good in that uniform
I survived my weekend in South Florida especially my liver. My family threw any big tailgate party! Beer, burgers, and shirtless boys in the OB parking lot. Also, we had marinated gator meat ... it tastes like chicken.
I can't believe Jim & Cyd declaring the Miami vs uf game as being a shocker. It is a typical gator game ... CHOKE! After spotting a 28 point lead (just like they did against FSU in 1994), the Canes came roaring back behind Giraffe (BB)!
It was a great game from the opening kickoff with the 97 yard touchdown run by Devin Hester to the last scoring play with a 12 yard run by RB Frank Gore.
However, UM's athletic director, Paul "Buffet Table" Dee, gave another weak quote in continuing and negotiating for this rivalary on an annual basis. Now, guys, hold onto your seats with this quote: "Florida can't have all of its non-conference games against teams in the top 10. They paly in the SEC, and they've got Florida State, so we understand their situation."
And what do Univ. of Miami and FSU have on their schedules ... Sisters of the Poor. Give me a break ... replace this guy!!
Forgive me on my grammar ... another is for any and play is for paly. I am still excited over the big WIN!

Congrats, Canes on 20 minutes of well-played fuh-ball. You got it when you needed it and deserved the win. [congrats to B.Berlin deleted after consideration of his postgame poor sportsmanship]
Thanks also you guys who suppressed the postgame smacktalk. I'll return the favor when it's the Gators' turn (and judging from our surprising performance that may be sooner than I thought).
On to FAMU...

Last year, they severely disciplined a trainer for taunting Xavier Beitia after he missed the field goal which would have beaten them. I hope they have something similar in mind for BB. Combining the gator chomp and a throat slash is EXTREMELY bad sportsmanship. Especially considering his statement that he didn't hate the Crocs, he only transfered so he could have a chance to play... Sorry BB, but any respect you gained from your improved play during the game got erased by your callous actions after the game.

Say, Jim, how 'bout yer Seminole buddies give Mr. Berlin a nice warm welcome to Tally-town in a coupla weeks? Secret hint, though: watch out fer them kickoff returners. You'll break yer neck watchin em streak down the field... eek!

Remember--you can edit your posts...once you calm down, that is. wink
I was switching back and forth between the Phils and the various football games, and happened upon this game when Florida had their lead, and I'm thinking "GatorJamie must be
really happy right now!" Sorry if I jinxed them, Jamie.

LOL, Joe. I'm so glad to see that you understand that it's AllAboutMeee. No worries about any jinx. I was pretty damn happy there for awhile, doin the Snoopy dance 'n' all. Next time I'll restrain my celebration and keep my head in the game. Hey Prozac vendor! wink
And nah, don't unleash the Grammar Police on poor J T. Not just yet anyway. That was a helluva win and he's allowed to celebrate.
For a little while.

Hey Guys ... Please give me a break ... I was a finance major at FSU not a English major. I just passed College Composition I, Composition II, and Business Writing course with C+ grades. Those courses were my only poor grades at FSU.
Regarding the game, GJ ... who is # 40 for the gators ... he is cute as a button! Woof! Woof! He reminds me of a little Mikey Alstott.

J T,
LOL, #40 is Reid Fleming, a senior (I think) from my hometown, Panama City, FL. You might have seen him in photos from Media Day when he was sitting next to Zookie and making a "Dr. Evil" face. I'll try to find a link and post it in a place I rarely tread...Hot Jocks.

From my binoculars ... he is definite boyfriend material. He has the whole A&F look down pat even on the football field when his helmet is off.
