College football writer Todd Huestess will make tailgate pilgrimages to at least four college football games this season and write about his experiences. He is set to go to Boulder, Gainesville, Austin and Seattle. He would love to be joined by other Outsports readers.
More details.

you need to go to Morgantown for the WVU-Pitt game
you have to experience the Backyard Brawl in all its glory!

And instead of the UW/Oregon State game in Seattle on 11/5, the better option would be the Cal/Oregon game in Eugene!
I would love to do the tailgate, but unfortunately, UW & OSU are my most "hated" teams and I don't think that, being a Duck, it would be wise to surround myself amongst Huskies & Beavers

The UW game I'm attending on 11/5 is set. I would love to attend the WVU-Pitt game on Thanksgiving night. I'm balancing this Tour with my new company I started earlier this year so my schedule is pretty full but I'm hoping to add at least one or two more games if I can. Temple? Maybe next year.

I'm 99% set to meet up with Todd in Gainesville. Too bad he couldn't have made this trip last September for the UF-UK game where I got to meet GaytorJamie at last. She would have been able to give him a true insight to what a game in Hogtown means to a Gaytor.

I have added the Cal-SC game November 12 to the Outsports Tailgate Tour itinerary.

Jim,
You are too kind (blush). I just got an e-mail from the Alumni Band president (you met that queen) saying that the 2006 alumni band game is against UCF. BostonGirl and I are definitely going to the UF-Auburn game at Auburn in October - hopefully I'll get to go to this one, too.

Pretty damn cool. After meandering around from Tennessee to Louisiana, I hope that my college experience stops (and ends) in Gainesville. I can't wait to start there in January.

(wistful sigh) Great story. Thanks for including the band!

And those grrrlz were pretty cute, too.
Times certainly have changed regarding the gay scene. It was much, much more repressive in the early 80's when I was there. Glad to see the progress.

Boulder? Ack! You pick a Big XII campus and it's Boulder? That has to be the WORST game day/tailgating atmosphere anywhere in the Big XII, as well as the worst fans. I'm glad you survived, but . . . sheesh, pick a real school!

So it's better in Waco?

No stop in Auburn, AL? But they roll an intersection near the stadium after ever home victory.
Seriously, you need to visit Jacksonville, FL for the UGA-UF game. game is sold out months (maybe even a year) in advance.
You should also go see the Michigan-Ohio State game, comes complete with a victory riot after the game if the home team wins. LOL
If you go to any games in Mississippi, go to ones at Southern Miss, even the Ole Miss girls admit that Southern Miss guys are way hotter than the boys in Oxford.
