Does anyone remember how in the past the team scores in VGM tended to be very close, as people tended to draft a similar team each week? Because of the player values, it was possible to take the top (or near top) player in each position--so everybody did.

This year they've set the player values at more 'extreame' levels, which I think is good. Previously, the high scorers like Garnett, Duncan, Nowitski, Shaq, etc. would start the year at around 22 and gradually move up in value to say, 26. This year, the top players had their starting value up at 28 or 29, making them less attractive, and also making it impossible to take the top player at each position because of the cap.

I think this makes the player selection tougher and better, as you have to select some lesser-known players.

It's only the 3rd week and we have over 250 points separating #1 and #10. But unlike previous years where it was hard to make up ground, I think we'll see lots of changes in the standings this year.

All I know.... I am still on top! LOL!

Last year...I didn't know how to play the first two weeks...I was second from the bottom. I finished the regular season, I think 3rd and after the playoffs...I think I was second.

Well, I'm the the BOTTOM of the league, and I've got to say that I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't get too happy pacer. If we remember last year anything can happen in VGM. I really look forward to playing flip flop and having you beneath me pacer.

Well, all I have to say is at least I did really really well last week! I'm so far in the hole because of my picking fiasco in weeks 1 & 2 that I'm going to have to pimp myself out in order to move up in the standings.

Can I do anything...ANYTHING for any of you studs ahead of me to maybe convince you to pick players valued at 1.0 - 2.0 for the next two to three weeks. Anyone? Any Takers? Buhler?
