I personally think that the Mavs will finally break their 23 game losing streak on the road against the Lakers. The Mavs have more overall talent, a deeper bench, and play better team ball. I think that I was still in elementary the last time that they won there. :-)) What in the heck is wrong with the Lakers? They are playing without any passion, cohesiveness, or team chemistry. They are not playing like the 3-time defending champions that they are. Heck, they only have a 4-4 record since Shaq's return. The Mavs should win this game PERIOD!! It should be a very entertaining game. What does everyone else think?

I think the LAKERS will find their goove, and motivation by Christmas. I should hope they will be pumped up and ready to bt Dallas tomorrow night. It could be an early turning point in the season! Let's wait and see!

This is a statement game for both teams. For the Mavs to prove they can beat the Lakers with Shaq in LA. For the Lakers to prove they are back on the right track by beating a top quality opponent.

Wow, was that fun!!!
Cuban's face after his team blew a 30-point lead . . . priceless.
I guess you just have to add the Mavs to a long list of folks . . . Portland up by 15, 9 minutes left - game 7 of the Western Conference finals . . . Kobe to Shaq on the alley oop . . . Portand's history. Kings up 24 in Game 4 looking to take the Western Conf. Final back to Sacto up 3-1. Horry cans the three, and the Kings can't finish.
And now . . . this.
The Bulls used to do this alot in the 90's and it was maddening as hell. Sure is sweet to be on the other side of it.

Well, the Mavericks lost after taking a 27 point lead into the 4th quarter. They basically had a 4th quarter meltdown!! What in the heck happened? I watched the game, but I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The stellar defense that they had held most of the game, just disappeared during!! Dallas has alot to learn from this game. Each game has to be played for four entire quarters, not 3 quarters!! I am just sick.

It's only Dec. but this one might stick in the Mavs psyche all season and intensify if they meet in the playoffs.

I am thinking this is the turn-around the LAKERS needed! GR8 game INDEED! Did the Mav's melt? Or did the LAKERS prove they are the team to beat? This should prove to be an exciting season!

I give my props to the Lakers for the comeback. I always admit when a team had earned a victory fairly, and not dirtly. There were no questionable calls, even in the fourth quarter, so this truly was a Lakers victory, but I am still and always will be a Mavericks fan!

The Mavs are done. Steve Nash could not hold on to the ball, Dirk was afraid to shoot and Finley was off all night. The only person who was fearless was Van Exel, who always performs well against them. He should have been the go to guy in the 4th, but they kept the ball in Nash's hands. That bloated record of theirs is going to ring hollow when they play real teams who can crack their zone i.e. Lakers, Kings, Pacers, Philly. They are fun to watch but until they get some heart, that's all they'll be.

Hey, LAKERSDABOMB, I was out of town this weekend. I went to the Tampa Bay/Atlanta game and was there since friday morning. That's the only reson that I haven't had a post. But I must give it to the Lakers on their defeat of the "foreign connection" AKA the Dallas Mavericks. That game did two things: 1) unfortunately it gave the Lakers all the confidence they needed to roll up the rest of the west, and 2) it basically eliminated Dallas from the western conference title.
If I were fan of the western conference, like many of you who frequent thist section of the discussion board, I would really take a good look at what some of the teams in the east are doing because no longer is it a given that teams from the west can just walk away with a "W" win they visit the east.

Me too pacerspride! What I really wanna do is get w/ Rick Fox though! Aii Yi Yii! OK dakid I understand your reason for not posting! It is acceptable! LOL I still think the West (preferably the LAKERS) will win the crown but I will admit 76ers and Pacers have impressed me! And while on the topic I think Celtic's have a gr8 team (That kills me to say) but I think Peirce and Walker need to be on thier groove at the same time for them to really do some damage! It looks like an exciting season! Stay tuned! I don't wanna make enemies on this board, just friends!

Love You 2! I hated the CELTIC's growing up my Dad was a Celtic fan,my brother (and just about everybody in my town) a 76er fan so things were never easy! I don't hate the Celtic's anymore, but these jerk-offs around here make me hate the 76ers! Even though I gots to admit they are looking quite impressive!
