gp, this should be an interesting week, that's for sure....with 20 teams playing four games each it definitely makes for a ton of different lineup combinations -- I know I changed my lineup about five times, including several with Payton, the delicious Wally S. (yum ) and Shaq before settling on the following:
Steve Nash
Kobe Bryant
Paul Pierce
Karl Malone
Alonzo Mourning (his stats have been quite impressive lately)
Coach Phil Jackson

I don't think any one team is going to pull away from the pack in the foreseeable future....btw, with the "first half" ending in another week or so, does that mean the VGM team points roll over and continue for the rest of the season or does everyone start out from zero again (like minor league baseball does with "split-seasons")?....I've never been clear on that and from a PM I got from another member, I think I'm not the only one.

Go Canadians! Woo hoo!

With most of the leaders selecting very different teams, this week could separate the men from the boys.

FYI: My team is

Gary Payton
Kobe Bryant
Kevin Garnett
Tim Duncan
Radoslav Nesterovic
Lenny Wilkins

Bon chance!

I've got Jason Kidd, Kobe Bryant, Wally Szczerbiak, Tim Duncan, Alonzo Mourning and Byron Scott. Finally some differences in our lineups!

Gamecock: yes with the 1st half ending in a couple weeks there will be a first half champ then it will start at zero again. They will still show your combined first and 2nd half score but teams will be listed in order of the 2nd half scores. there will be a 2nd half champ and prizes from espn, gatorade and nba, and also a combined 1st and 2nd half champ

Hey GP, Don't count out the Quack, Theo, John & George! We're going to make a last minute run at you guys. I have pretty much the same line-up with Theo except for the Coach. We have Nash, Bryant, Duncan & McCulloch going for us tonight. He has Karl & I have Scott for coach. OSU will fall back as he only has Coach Jackson going tonight. George may make a huge move as he has Kidd, Bryant, Duncan, Mourning and Scott going tonight.

Duck Boy your quack and theo always seem to end up with the same line up

You know what they say, Great Minds think alike ...although why our Great Minds have not translated into 1st & 2nd place is beyond me

Could have scored so much more last night too had Kidd shot better than 1 for freakin 17!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Hope he has a better performance tonight! Also should have looked at schedule more closely. Nets are making the Texas swing, so may have a tough time getting wins from Scott.

Methinks we will have a new leader tomrrow. Will it be GP or the Canadiens? I just want to hold off OSU to remain in 4th place!

Next week's line-ups will decide a winner, 7 teams still are pretty much in this, only 1 more week till 1st half is over, any ideas for a prize maybe for 2nd half? How would we work this?
