Is the officiating in the NBA the worst ever this year? I have watched several games this year and every one has been pathetic.

Just saw the clip of Tim Duncan bumping into the official (which happened last weekend) for which he earned a one game suspension. What a joke! That ref ought to be suspended for making such an outrageous call. Duncan bumped him while the game was being played. You know, like a football ref gets run over by a running back smashing up the middle or a receiver going over the middle. A complete freakin' joke!

George-viking, I could not agree with you more! What was that idiot doing in the middle of the lane while the game was being played? I wish i could see the whole play unfold. All I saw was Tim Duncan being interfered with by an out of position ref. And then the league has the nerve to suspend the league MVP for a game because he made contact with the idiot. What a joke! The league needs to make amends to Duncan for that assanign move! The referree's union probably is behind the one game suspension because the ref was touched- oooh, the ultimate sin, you can never touch a ref...give me a freakin' break!
