As last season began, there was a lot of commentary in the sports-talk community about who would dominate the Lakers--Shaq or Kobe. Many commentators stated that if they were starting a team right then, Kobe would be their franchise player and that he had taken the torch from MJ. This led to an ugly atmosphere between Shaq and Kobe that lasted throughout the season, which is OK--there is no reason why players have to get along as long as they can play together. I have been surprised, however, that no commentary (that I have heard) wonders whether some of this season's embarrassing start is part of Shaq's wanting to teach Kobe a lesson. Shaq's absence has proven that he is still the MVP and the most dominant player & that Kobe, though an extremely gifted player, is no Michael Jordan. After all, Jordan led his team to victory, something Kobe has failed to do.

Their point is that you haven't been posting during the time when Shaq was out and the Lakers have been losing. That's why they think of you as a bandwagon-jumper.

Why would I post negative responses? I knew as soon as Shaq came back things would be ok! Yes they have a tough road to climb, but they are still the 3x defending champions! Remember Rick Fox was also out 3 games! Maybe Kobe can't be the next Jordan? Who cares? LAKERS are still the team to beat! OK they only bt Chicago but Shaq didn't even play half the game. Robert Horry always takes a while to get in2 his season, Fox was suspended and nobody stepped-up! Fine... LAKERSRDABOMB I hear shit from all the 76ers fans around here and it gets quite annoying! FOX was out 6 games not 3, sorry I guess I was still on he 3-peat! Also I am kinda pissed #52 is also still active! Also I told a good friend and 76er fan, I thought their Rebounding was very impressive, and they seem to have a lot of team unity! I will never be a 76er fan but I can always acknowledge talent!

You don't need to post negative about the Lakers. You just need to be around and take your medicine when they do lose. Take it like a man, so to speak.

I'm sorry to have to break the news to you LAKERSDABOMB, but we live in the present not the past. Yes, the Lakers have won the last 3, but this is a brand new season and you have to do it all over again. Don't forget that we still own the most banners in the league!! Losing to the pathetic Miami Heat, BTW I was there at the game, with ALL of your starters is an embarassment for any reigning world champion. The Heat is one of the worst teams in the East, let's see what you do with a formidable East opponent. And we won't even begin to think about the West.
