So who do you think is this year's MVP? 'Bron or 'Melo for Rookie of the Year? Which coach did the best job? Let's discuss.

MVP Tim Duncan, Spurs

Yeah I know Kevin Garnett will get the award and I don't have a real problem with that. I love Garnett. But he's got some All Star quality teammates (Sprewell, Cassell). This team is far superior talent wise compared to last year's but they've only won about 5 more more games. Duncan has a bunch of role players surrounding him and can still grab the #1 seed in the West.

Rookie of the Year LeBron James, Cavs

Carmelo's in the playoffs in the West, but the Nuggets surrounded him with more support than the Cavs gave LeBron. The Cavs collapsed down the stretch, but 'Bron didn't. Both will be great NBA stars for years to come, but I think James had the better season by a nose.

Coach of the Year Jerry Sloan, Jazz

Lots of contenders here. Stan Van Gundy led the Heat back after an atrocious start that was only overshadowed by the Magic's ineptitude. Hubie Brown had the Grizzlies in the hunt for home court in the first round until a week or two ago. Jeff Bzdelik got the Nuggets into the playoffs after they won only 17 games last year. Then there are the guys like Carlisle, Popovich, Jackson and Saunders who just get the job done every year. Something to be said for coaching a team that is suppossed to win. But Sloan has a roster of no-names and just missed a playoff berth. Most "experts" picked the Jazz to finish last in the Western conference.
