Full Version: Isaac Mizrahi on the Yankees

The funniest interview I've seen on a late night chat show for a LONG, LONG time. Mizrahi has a new show coming out on Oprah's network, and he mentioned how much he loved NY and the Yankees. Then he went into this great ga-ga monologue about how the Yankees are the best team in baseball because they don't allow facial hair or earrings -- he lusted after Jeter, Williams, and even Giambi...

The best part was when he dissed Mike Piazza for "not being gay" -- shrug, smile, guffaw and fall on the floor (well, not literally). Conan suggested that he should have his own sports segment on SportsCenter (actually sounds up Kilborn's alley), and a comic on the couch asked, "Wait, you're gay?!?!?"

You scared me with that topic... I thought for a minute Le Miz had a second career as a long relief specialist.

just hope he's gotten rid of that hideous headband.

Mizrahi was on Leno (or one of those shows) years ago and was telling this story of how he was at a Yankees game cheering away. But then some guy a few rows behind stood up and shouted "Siddown Nelly!"
