The following from the Marlins website:

The series versus the Atlanta Braves is the Viagra "The Triumphant Glory Series".

The Marlins worked with Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM) to develop a contest on the Marlins website to determine the fans' most popular year of Marlins baseball. The fans chose the year 1982. The Marlins will wear "throw back" jerseys from the 1982 season for the Triumphant Glory Series.

This has been going on with a number of teams. The Braves and Phillies did it last weekend at the Vet (Phils wearing the uniform/logo that debuted in 1970 and was worn by the 1980 world champions) and are doing it again this weekend in Atlanta.

What Marlins team existed in 1982? A minor-league team, I assume?
