I read yesterday that Vince Carter was out for the season. As a lifelong Wizards/Bullets fan, my first thought was, "Now what can we do to get rid of Allan Iverson for a while?"
Iverson expected out 4-6 weeks

Good News for the PACERS they might make the play-offs now! LAKERS, will the Eastern Conference don't much matter IF (I repeat IF) they were to lose it would be Saccremento, (W/Home court), San Antonio, or Dallas no Eastern Conference team could bt them in a best of 7! So if you want to route against THE LAKERS, think about it, and choose a Western Conference team! Say Your prayers real loud and hope 4 the best! LAKERS 3-PEAT AII YI YII!!!

According to the paper, Iverson knew immediately that his hand was broken when it happened. He stayed in the game for a while, though, and hit a couple of 3-pointers.
Don't be too surprised if he makes it back earlier than the estimated time.

I don't think I've ever seen the NBA this unbalanced. Dallas, San Antonio, Suck-ra-mento, or the Lakers could easily beat any team that advances out of the East.
What the hell has happened to the NBA to cause this oddity?
I plan on betting serious cash on the Western Conf champ this year, no matter who it is. The East is in terrible disarray!

Yeah it is all unbalanced! But it wasn't too long ago when the better teams were in the East! It will all come full circle again, in 4 yrs. the Beasts will be back in the East!!!

I think we are handing the championship off too soon, it's all about matchups. Yes, the West is stacked, but do I believe Dallas or Sacramento is tough enough defensively to stop a high scoring team like Milwaukee or a healthy Charlotte? No. If Miami sneaks in, will they give San Antonio some trouble? Hell yeah. Other than the Lakers, because of Shaq, can you comfortably say no team in the East can compete. Besides the team to really look out for is Portland. I don't think anyone, Lakers included, want to face them in a short series.

Well...you can do your own research... But I do think there were years when the Bulls, NY, Pacers and the Magic had VERY good records. And sad to say.....the West probably would not have won any Championships if Jordan would not have retired the first time....
