Bah--injuries again! Against my better instincts I picked Allen Iverson this week. He produced a lowly 7 vgm points on Monday, and is out tonight with a bad knee (to the benefit of my Raptors!). This, plus Tim Duncan's injury the other week is keeping me from challenging Pacerpride who has a nearly 100 point lead over #2 Gamecocks, with the Canadians on the 'cocks' rear at #3.

I feel you buddy. I too, took Iverson. :mad: And I had Tony Parker during weeks 1 and 2 when he was out with his ankle injury, and had Tim Duncan during week 2 with his injury.

I think I'll eventually get it right!! Probably when football season is over and less of a distraction. I'm having fun though!!

I've noticed that your Canadians have been right on my Gamecocks rear all year, canmark ....I don't think I'm gonna be widening my slim lead on you much this week, though, since I selected Iverson, too, which I swore I would never do....I'm just hoping that Pacerpride doesn't pull too far ahead of the pack, even though it is still very early in the season.

My luck is even worse....I have AI and Carlos Boozer - both injured! frown

Well, at least I moved up a couple of spots...but I still have a LONG way to go.

My lineup this week has a VGM value of just over 86. Rather than try and use all 100 points I just went with some bargain players and have had my best week so far this season. So I decided to try the same strategy for next week. We'll see what happens.

I had Ivy on my list, up until the last night of selections. Then I changed my mind and picked Arenas. I am glad I did.

I lucked out with that.

So far...I have been lucky with the injuries...but it is bound to happen sometime.
