Here in Buffalo, we have a team in the ABA that just began play this season. I was curious if anyone else out there has a club in their area or follows the league at all.

They've got some quirky rules:

no one fouls out, but when a player gets his sixth foul any foul he commits thereafter means a FT by anyone on the floor plus possession.

3D rule- basically a turnover in the backcourt gives a team the opportunity to get 3 for a 2point bucket and 4 for a 3.

Any bucket past half court is worth 4.

OT - 1st one 3 minutes long and no timeouts allowed. any player who commits two fouls in this period fouls out regardless of how many he already has. If tied at end of OT the game becomes first team to 10 points wins.

I've attended their home games and find it kinda goofy, but interesting. And the occasional former college hoopster shows up at every game.

I've already seen and Lawrence Moten('Cuse), Chris Carrawell(Duke)play for other clubs and I'm sure there'll be more.
