Hmmm its almost Fall, the yanks shut out the redsox 2 times in a row. They are 9 games ahead, and the Sox are falling out of the wild card.

Hmmm who needs a calender, it must almost be September..... hahahahahahaha

Usually you can blame injuries but the red faced sox have succombed to another favorite of mine..ineptitude.

Yeah, come September that's always in the Top Ten around here, that, the student invasion and the chill in the ayuh. Every year.

The hooting at my favorite watering hole as Pedro left the game was music to my ears. The only thing better than driving a stake through the hearts of the Red Sox was beating him.

Looks like the Good Guys are ready for the postseason.....

The Good Guys? Why suddenly bring Oakland into it??

Can't wait for the Smug Bronxers to get roasted in October... what WILL suck is if Boston still backs into the wild card via those 14 they still have against Tampa Bay and Baltimore (even though the O's have graduated to mediocrity).

Boston student invasion = good axis, avalon, campus lol ok so this NYer has been to Boston a few times <grin>

Yeah, it's swell that Boston was shut out for 18 innings, but I haven't quite written them off yet. They've got a fairly easy schedule in September, but, let's be honest, it's probably gonna be another autumn chock at Fenway.

But I'd like to dismiss them now. My dreams consist of the Angels taking the AL West, with Seattle snagging the wildcard. (Sorry, Oakland, but screw you.)

Yankees/Cardinals WS, anyone?

Yeah, Fever, then I'd get to see Tino again!<sniff>
