Dallas Maverick owner Mark Cuban pulled an April Fools' gag during a timeout in the second quarter of Tuesday night's game against the New Orleans Hornets, getting into a shoving match with a phony game official.
Cuban, heavily fined last season for his complaints about officiating, went onto the court during the stoppage in play and began arguing with a man dressed as a game official.
Cuban began shoving the man and was restrained by one of the team's equipment managers before it became apparent that the incident had been staged.
What do you want to bet the league will come down on Mark Cuban and fine him some money? After all, a real brawl could have ensued from this prank.

LOL!!! I was posting this at the same time you were! Sorry moderators! I deleted mine.
Anyway, I thought it was pretty funny. But I was under the impression it was a real ref who was playing along, not just a guy in a ref costume. Anybody know for sure?

It was reported here that the guy was not a real official as he did not have a number on his uniform.
I think it was hilarious and if the NBA did fine Cuban for this, then I would be convinced tht they are indeed a bunch of money hungry fools with no sense of humor.

The article I read today said that the real refs laughed at the joke. Hopefully the NBA won't be bothered. It's not like they're the No Fun League.
