Saw a book in the bookstore the other day that looks like a terrific gift for yourself or the basketball fan in your life. If there is an ultra-hot basketball fan you'd LIKE to have in your life, this might also be a great way to get him off the fence.

Its called "At The Buzzer" and not only does it chronicle some of the truly outstanding/outlandish moments in NBA history, but includes 2 CDs that have interviews and some of the original play-by-play descriptions of these moments.
Included are:

Jordan's climactic playoff series ending shots:
* against the Cavaliers in 1989
* against Utah in 1998
* Reggie Miller scoring 8 points in 8 seconds to beat the Knicks
* The Lakers comeback from 15-down in the 4th Quarter to beat Portland in 2000.

Lots of others. The books is a bit pricey at $50 retail, but you can find it at Amazon for $35 (and it you link to Amazon from Outsports, Jim & Cyd get a cut -- woo-hoo!)

Check it out before you buy, but thought this was too good to keep a secret.
