Spent the weekend tuned into all the games - some great matchups. A surprise has been because of the absence of Marv Albert & Mike Fratello (neither qualifies as eye candy) there are new faces/voices on the air. What do you all think of Tom Tolbert? He's funny and astute, and well, that bald and goatee thing is working for me! Who is the guy paired with Bob Costas? I only heard his voice, and he sounds like a former player...

The national media's coverage of the Sonics is a joke, there is no Kevin Livingston and Pedrag Drobnjak's name is not pronounced Drob-nah-jack. If a network is gonna cover a game they should at least take the time to learn the players names.

I agree Aznbutch about Tom Tolbert. I think he's kinda hot.

I agree, Tom Tolbert is a really likeable stud. Found this article about him. Alas, it says he's "slavishly devoted" to his wife and three kids. Sigh.

Hey Canmark, thanks for the link and great article. Like I said earlier, I've been really surprised with how much I'm digging Tom the "bobcat". It's not really that he's hot, it's more a combination of his hoop smarts and attitude. Jayson Williams was cool too...but we all know what happened with him.

This is absolutely amazing...I've been saying the same thing Tom Tolbert. I'm more excited about pregame, halftime, and postgame than the games themselves. He really knows his stuff and he's such a stud. And wow is he tall, BONUS!

Astute is the word, yep. He's TOLBERTONYMOUS!!! Yummy!

Tom's on the right. He looks so smooth, and big too. His facial hair is working for me, too. It's so well-cropped and looks great on his 6'8" frame. He can crash my boards any night!

Did you catch him on the halftime report tonight? He has the bald thing going on with the perfectly-cropped goatee. I was getting a hard-on just looking at him, DAMN is he smooth!
