Ten bucks said either Larry Brown or Isiah will be gone by the end of the season. Special bonus if both make their exits.[/quote]I don't think Larry Brown, with another 2 years (or more?) at $10 milllion each is going anywhere soon (although maybe he can shake down another team for a buyout after ripping off Detroit). But Isiah -- yeah, I'd be surprised if he's around for long. Also nice of Isiah to have never acknowledged his 20 year old son. God -- what a great player, but what a putz in every other capacity.

The Knicks have traded Antonio Davis (and his wife/bitch) to Toronto for Jalen Rose and a draft pick.

Oh man, did anyone catch tonight's ending  ? The Knicks just invent new ways to lose each game. After a back-and-forth one at home against the Clippers, the Knicks put themselves back into a hole in the final two minutes with poor shot selection vs. a couple of three pointers from Sam Cassell (the latter of which was really a travel). But, the Knicks crawled back into it and had an inbound at midcourt with 2.2 on the clock and down by one. As Jalen Rose (our newest Knick) is ready to inbound the ball, he lets five seconds go by (no timeouts left for the Knicks). Clippers ball... You know the rest

. If it wasn't for the exciting Rangers on the ice this season, I would be advocating a revolt at Madison Square Garden.

Great to see my Buffalo Braves doing so well this season....they haven't been doing this good since the days of McAdoo, Smith, Ernie D and Dr. Jack roaming the sidelines.
What???? They moved to California??? Where was I!!!

I said it before and I'll say it again. Knicks are losing now because Marbury is not playing. It is a fact in the NBA you cannot win without your starting point guard in close games down the stretch. True, Knicks would still be bad right now, but there is no way they lose 12 of 13 if Marbury is on the floor. That stupid Wally dope who went from Minnesota to Boston turned the Knicks season into a laughing stock when he busted Marbury's shoulder. Case closed.

One thing I've been wondering is who will be the point guard when Marbury returns. The media reports made it seem like Jalen Rose filled a hole in the Knicks roster with the lack of quality small forwards. But Rose seems suited for running the point, which would allow Marbury to move to shooting guard, which he's been lobbying for ever since Larry Brown arrived.
Perhaps Brown envisions Jalen Rose working like a point-forward a la Scottie Pippen?
I'm never shocked when the Knicks lose, and it seems quite fitting that Jalen Rose would make poor end-of-game time management decisions now that he's with the Knicks. It's like he's dumbing down in his new environment. I have mixed feelings about this trade for Rose--he does provide another offensive option, and he has great passing skills. But I've never been impressed by his defense, and isn't he just another player on the decline with a max $$$ contract? In a lot of ways, its the same old story with the Knicks.

New York City is the mecca for the sport of basketball in the U.S. but when the New York team is virtually the worst team in the NBA, it's time to just forget talking basketball. I could care less about the rest of the NBA with teams known as Kobe, Shaq or Lebron.
Also, can you believe the mecca New York City is worse than a team from Canada (Raptors)? Here's where you see the NBA is in trouble.
It's time to move on to the next sport. Pitchers and catchers just a few days away.

Hard to believe they have their worst 50-game record in franchise history.

Dey stink!
This team couldn't beat St. John's right now
Thank goodness they got their 10 wins in. They won't be able to challenge to 72-3 Sixers for worst team in NBA history.

The Knicks have now won three games in a row and Jamal Crawford has been amazing!
And defeating Indy and Cleveland as part of it.....wow!
