Well, not exactly ... but a community college in an L.A. suburb is catching heat for renting out its baseball field for a photo shoot by an "adult" film cable channel. (Emphasis added.)

QUOTE
The Spice Digital Network, a subsidiary of Playboy Enterprises Inc., used the Joe Kelly baseball field for two days in early March to shoot a racy promotional video that showed women and men in provocative attire.

\"It's what I would call easy money,\" Pierce President Tom Oliver said Thursday, adding that he had clearance from the Los Angeles Community College District.
...
Spice spokesman Scott Barton described the video as \"provocative, playful, sexy and fun.\"

\"It was baseball-themed,\" he said. \"There were two teams - nine women and nine men - playing baseball, who were provocatively dressed.\"
The editor of the campus paper found it "degrading to women," especially during Women's History Month ... but a professor said it was a freedom of speech issue and that the field was blocked off by a tarp. "All I saw was catering trucks and a very large beach-ball-sized baseball," she said.

I know what you mean bobby, straight people are ok, I even have a couple as friends....but I just hate when they act straight in public.

The Los Angeles Daily News--the San Fernando Valley's local paper--has this story on the front page with a giant color photo of the field outlined by "X-rated" and a poll question asking whether we think Pierce College should have rented the baseball field to the Spice Channel. Results tomorrow. On page 8 of the paper--next to the continuation of the Pierce article--is a small story about a group of parents trying to get a bus bench advertisement for "The L Word," which shows the actresses naked, removed from near a local elementary school.
