Congrats to my Terps, topping UNC on the road in OT, knocking off the only undefeated team and snapping a 25 game home win streak for the Tar Heels... Brenda has done a great job with this program.

Maryland is a very good team with a great coach. Not surprised to see them come up with a big win. Just a little surprised they did it in Chapel Hill. UNC has been on cruise control the past couple of games, so maybe they were ripe.

UNC coughed up a double-digit second half lead in the process. Maryland hit a 3 at the buzzer to force overtime.

This adds some complexity to the ACC race, as the three top schools all have beaten each other in one game. Duke over Maryland over UNC over Duke. Duke and UNC get another matchup, and Maryland plays in Durham on Monday night. Interesting finish to the league match-ups.

It was a great great game! UNC now will go back into the #1 spot because they just recently beat Duke for the 6th straight time! Go Heels!

This gives UNC the #1 spot in the regular season, the ACC conference tourney, the national rankings, and almost assuredly the NCAA seedings.
