I was at the game tonight in Durham. I have to say that I have never seen a Tennessee squad get so thoroughly handled. Duke did not play their very best, but they were all over the Vols.

Lindsay Harding is Duke's point guard and she was all over the floor -- steals, assists, points. Tennessee had no answer for her.

Shonna Zolman is Tennessee's leading scorer and had 0 points tonight. Yes, the big goose egg.

The game was not close past the first television timeout. Duke really manhandled the #1 team in the country and made it look ridiculously easy. Cameron Arena is a great old basketball environment.

I would have to agree with you - I've seen Tennessee on bad nights but can't remember seeing them get beat all night long and in every aspect of the game!

At some point during a time out, you could hear Pat Summitt ask one of the players, "how could you not be fired up for this game" to which the player (couldn't see what player it was) replied "I am fired up" and Pat Summitt said "you don't look like it".

Man, if they were fired up and still got beaten that badly, I can't imagine what it would have looked like had they not been fired up.

I will actually be at the Duke/Carolina game on Sunday. Two 1 vs 2 match-ups on the same floor in seven days. And if the Blue Devils were ready for Tennessee, they should be even more fired up to beat the Tarheels.
