My best bud just invited me to the Connecticut Sun game on July 30th. After thanking him, I admitted I hadn't been following them, "it's baseball season," (which he knew), anyway...

The question is can anyone offer a crash course of information on the Connecitcut Sun? What are the keys to the game and who should I be keeping my eyes on in the next couple of weeks?

I follow the UConn women, but this may be, well, "a horse of a different color." wink

I don't know them well, but they have the best record in the league now I believe. Nykesha Sales and Aisha Jones from UConn are on the team- the former is their leading scorer and AJ I think is now getting a lot of minutes. Their point guard is the one that lead Minnesota to the Final Four two years ago? Lindsey Whelan? And they have a big center. I hope you have a good time!

They lost (75-66) it was brutal, but the seats were AWESOME!

WNBA Playoffs are soon and I am so excited. I hope the Storm can repeat as championships but the Monarchs and Sun are tough. To bad L.A. Sparks might not even make the playoffs with so much talent.

I pick Connecticut to win it all but only if they don't meet New York in the playoffs.
