Sat June 15, at the Braves-RedSox game in Atlanta, there is a promotion called "Shirt Off Your Back" which will be held. It is being widely advertised in the local Atlanta media. You buy a scratch off card for $1 (no limit) in the stands during the game, and the 15 winning cards (one for each player I believe) each have the name of a Braves player. At the end of the game, if you have a winning card, you go down to the field and the Braves players will ** take off their jersey right there ** and hand it to you.

Some of the advertising I've seen and heard says things like, "Have you ever dreamed of having Javy's sweat-soaked shirt for your very own? Now you can!," and another one goes "Chipper's shirt needs washing after the games. Would you like to do his laundry?"

I cannot beLIEVE this opportunity is going to happen. SOMEBODY has GOT to be there to record this on camera. I was so pissed to learn today that the game is a sellout, which doesn't happen all the time in Atlanta but I guess an event like this would draw a crowd.

PLEASE, if someone is in Atlanta and goes to the game, GET SOME PIX!!!!

OMG......I can't believe it.... To have my Javy....undress infront of me... and hand me his shirt......WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

If I get two winning cards.... can I have his pants too

He'd be in trouble if I had the winning ticket...

Relax, guys. They'll have on those Body Armor shirts or regular undershirts. I wouldn't expect to see anyone truly shirtless that evening. The Thrashers have been doing it every year, and I think it's a tradition for many other NHL teams, too.

I've got tickets to the game Saturday night,... I'll let you guys know how it goes and try to get some pics. Hell yeah, I'll be buying some scratch off tickets for sure! But I never win those things. I've been to the same thing that the Thrashers do, and done my share of lusting there.

Maybe we should have the national Outsports convention at this Atlanta game!
