Welcome to Outsports! This is an ideal board for those who wish to exchange thoughts and ideas regarding sports, politics, religion, and real life issues. Please be respectful of others' ideas. If you don't agree with them, that's fine. Just be aware that people think differently.

Some tips for you newbies:

1) Refer to me as "Your Royal Highness"

2) There is a certain player for the Boston Red Sox with the initials "G.K.". Don't mention his name, or else you will incur the wrath of some members.

3) If you pay Jim and Cyd large amounts of money, then you can be king/queen/prince/princess for the week.

4) Don't challenge mine and Blueraider's knowledge of College/University Team Nicknames. We will just shame you into humiliation.

5) FireCharlieManuelNow knows more about the rules of baseball than anyone on this board. He knows just as much as the MLB Umpire who posts on this board.

6) Don't attempt to find the identity of the MLB Umpire. He wishes to remain anonymous, and the search will be fruitless on your part.

7) I am single and looking for a relationship. I like ethnic (Italian/Greek) looking men, and men who are either uniformed and/or have Southern, British-based (Australian, British, etc.) or New England accents. (Just partially kidding.... )

8) HAVE FUN!!!!

Here's a question for the new people: If you had the chance to live out a sports fantasy (i.e., scoring the winning goal in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, hitting a game-winning home run), what would it be? This is NOT a sexual fantasy question...that will be discussed in other forums . Hell, all members can answer this...here's mine. Kicking the game-winning field goal in a football game. I've never tried to kick a field goal, but I know I can kick....
