Re the search for the Clubhouse, can "United States" be listed first, as most people aren't looking for people in other nations? Even when this IS the case (and I hope, ASAP) I think U.S. should be at the top for ease.

My guess is, because about 2100 people do not want to participate on the discussion board.

Good presumption JIP. I lurked on this site forever before I got hopelessly sucked into the Discussion Board.

I think PhillyFan makes up for them all.

What if we had an Attack of the PhillyFan Clones (maybe hundreds) from those lurking 2,100 non-posters? eek! frown

Wow - almost 4,000 members! And, I understand that the site gets roughly 1/2 million hits per quarter...

Losers.
In fact, I have to make an effort to remember that the "regular" part of Outsports exists. I have the message board bookmarked and it's where I go. About once a week I'll think "Oh, haven't seen Picture This or the Clubhouse in a while" and go there, otherwise the rest of the site is an out-of-sight kind of thing. So much for me generating any ad revenue!

Its interesting that so many people don't seem to want to be involved. For example, there are about 6 or 7 other guys from Spokane listed in the Clubhouse, But I, am the only participater. frown
Outsports generates a million page views per month, including the main site, the discussion board and the Clubhouse.

WOW - that's A LOT more than 3800 members' worth...
With almost 15 million hits per year, where is my boyfriend?!?!?
I guess he's not out yet...
Well, be that as it may: Hello, BF!

As of now, the Discussion Board and Clubhouse require two separate registrations. We plan on changing that.

OK, I just have to say that I find "Dave" from Massachusetts, the cover boy for the current Clubhouse section is really attractive.
Over the weekend, I went into the Clubhouse section and snooped around. My clubhouse and board name is one and the same. I still find it interesting that there are so many men listed in the Clubhouse, but only a fraction participate in the Discussion Boards. Makes me wonder if men are registering in the Clubhouse prmiarily for 1) another venue to meet men (and/or dates) 2) they are really interested in sports or 3) both?
and what the heck happened to the originator of this post? Did the Bluebird fly away?
