I've noticed that the site's been a bit slower than usual - and usual is nice and fast, TYVM! - and thought I'd mention it. I'm not complaining, but sometimes you guys don't know these things unless someone tells you. BTW, loved the Thanksgiving colors on the home page and today's Tops 'n' Bottoms about the biting Spaniel cracked me up!

I too, on occasion have noticed a site slowdown on occasion. I am old fashioned out here, and still have a dila-up. Yesterday during a time frame it ran extremely slow. Like pre-historical slow, and then once I got a "refresh page" option come up.

The guys may have been doing site work, or the connections were busy or the bad weather here in the N.W. could contribute as well.

Todays weather not much better. Spokane got about 6 inches of snow yesterday and last night, which turned over to rain, then back to snow, this morning rain again, this afternoon more snow, then its going down to about 17 for a low tonite. Not at all pretty!!!! :eek:

I too love the color enhancements for the Holidays. Lets play guess the colour for Christmas, ok??

I just got DSL yesterday, so I'm experiencing exactly the opposite. Everything's been like lightining for me lately.
Not that this really contributes to the conversation, but I'm so happy about DSL I'm telling everyone, and this seemed better than opening a new thread.

I have cable internet, and yes this sight has been slow lately ! It usually runs lightning fast.

Actually puckman, since God is a Bruin, he's punishing you guys for knocking UCLA out of the Pac-10 race this year . . . not to mention providing us with Ryan Leaf.

It seems slower to me in recent days. But I only have a 56K connection, so it wasn't like I had a blazing fast connection to begin with.

I was noticing a real slowdown last week when I was still online with AT&T@home cable modem, which is usually lightning fast.

Fortunately, I managed to switch to a DSL service just before all @home subscribers in the Bay Area were cut off due to Excite's bankruptcy.

But, the outsport site still seems rather slow. Overall, I think the cable modem was much faster than the DSL connection. But the cable modem is also subject to temporary slowdowns if the traffic is too heavy.

Over the past 2 weeks their were telco issues with Pacbell and some of them are still exisitng.

Hi: Our wonderful server admin has upgraded this board to the newest version and said it should work much faster.
