Hey y'all.
I was watching the All-American game this morning (1st quarter) and I slowly realized I was watching the best of high school football jocks.

Then I got to wondering about Corey Johnson, who came out about four years ago. Corey played football -- what has happened to him?

He was co-hosting a show on Sirius OutQ (satellite radio) but he's no longer listed there. I wonder what happened?

I was recently thinking about a couple of people it would be great to hear updates about. Cory is one and the other is the young man who was on his high school basketball team in Indiana (I believe) last year. It would be nice to hear from them or people who have communicated with either one.

Cory is working on the Howard Dean campaign and may return to siriusoutg.com when the election is over. That is what my partner told me.
You never know. If he is doing high level work, he could end up getting some type of post if Dean is elected....never know.

I tried to e-mail the kid in Indiana with the e-mail address given on the story about him last year and it was bounced back to me. I'll try again (in case I made some sort of boneheaded spelling error), but it would be nice to know what he's doing.

Also nice to hear about Corey. Solidifies my support for Dean.

I exchanged a few emails with "Blake" (not his real name) last year, as did some others, but haven't heard from him since. My understanding (I have no super-secret knowledge, but I don't want to make it easy for someone to "out" him before he's ready) is that he's a senior this year, playing for a different school and coach. No idea why he switched, but I'd guess it's for some very mundane reason like better academics. Also, no idea of his college plans (beyond what the article says). He posted to the board once or twice (along the line of "thanks for the support") after the article appeared, so he might post again. :cool:
