Was at Colisuem nightclub in ft laud fla which is a large gay and bi night club. he has been there twice in the last month. Hanging with a small group of guy's and one girl. Still doesn't prove anthing though. But boy is he hot....

Maybe the thread should be renamed "Andy Roddick...or someone who looks like him."

Maybe, like Saddam, he has several body doubles.

It was probably Andy- it has been rumoured for some time that he is at least bi if not gay. He is a talented tennis player and one hot guy so he should have the pick of the field whether straight or gay. He has shaved his trail recently so I would guess he is probably leaning more towards gay these days since most straight guys don't clip down there.

Haven't you heard? Lots of straight guys are trimming and waxing their body hair. If that's your guideline, think again.

Sure I have heard and I know it is not the guideline- but there are less straights shaving and waxing than gay men- in any case, his waxing/shaving seems to be coincidental to his frequenting gay night clubs recently. But who knows- he's a stud and will keep us guessing.

Sure- I am not the one who brought up A-Rod visiting the gay bars in Florida. I was only commenting that perhaps he is bi and thats why he is in the Club, thats all. As for body waxing, etc., that's one's own personal choice and I will quiet on that topic.

I don't think threads like this--rumors and speculation--belong under "Gays in Sports." Unless someone is openly gay--and by that I mean that they specifically say it in a public setting and not someone who lives an openly gay life but refuses to comment on it for the record--it ought to be discussed somewhere else.

Unless I actually see Andy in a gay bar with my own eyes, I won't believe it. Besides, even if he is there, that doesn't necessarily mean anything. I have different VERY straight male friends who are comfortable enough to go to a gay bar and it in no way means they're "at least bi".

About 6 years ago, a female friend of mine told me she had heard (from a gay male friend of hers) that Pete Sampras was at a gay club here in Memphis during the Kroger/St. Jude. It turns out the suspected Pete was actually a guy from Memphis who had similar features, and her friend knew absolutely zero about tennis.

I know it's fun to speculate... we all do it. I do it. But, I need a little more credible evidence to go on, even if Andy happened to be at a gay club a few times. It could only mean he has excellent taste in dance music!

No Problem Bryan- I was probably getting carried away myself anyway. Joe is probably right and perhaps it is not worthy for a Board dedicated to sports discussion.
