I posted this after seeing the article in Jock Talk. There was nothing about this on the French TV news show 20 Heures tonight. 20 Heures is carried over the air on Channel 56 in northern Virginia, and it is also available all across the country on one of the satellite channels.

France 2: site de la chaîne de télévision

For print coverage, try L'Equipe.

Links to several French papers are at DailyEarth.com French Newspapers.

According to this site which seems to be a webpage for the pro team they played (Paris Saint Germain), it looks like the gay boys may have won. Hard to know if it was a legit game though.

Very badly translated by Dictionary.com:
QUOTE
- In curtain raiser, old glories of the PSG faced Paris Foot Gay. Vincent Guerin, Patrick Me Boma, Jean-Michel Moutier, Amara Simba or Alain Roche in particular was present. The PFG took a lead in the score of 2-1. - A the occasion of the 6eme week of action against racism and discrimination in the football and at the request of the LICRA, the players of the PSG and Nancy wore tee-shirts with the inscription \"Put racism except play\" right before the beginning of the meeting. - A the exit of the heating, Alain Roche gave on behalf of the PSG in Karsud (association of supporters of the Auteuil platform), a cheque of an amount of 8070 €, intended for the fight against the mucoviscidose.
Regardless, it looks like 8070 euros went to a good cause and the Paris Gay Football team gets some positive publicity.

Good for them.
