Please help!

I am an Englsih writer/researcher, as well as a trained counselor, looking at retirement from sport. I am self-funded but working closely with the English Institute of Sport and INSEP, the French national sports institute. More info on my web pages.
Reasons for retirement or withdrawal from sport include age, deselection, injury, free choice etc but I am specially interested in hearing from athletes (all disciplines, levels) who have felt the need to withdraw from their chosen sport due to homophobia. The subject is well documented in Jocks and Jocks2 by Dan Woog and I am preparing a research paper for the English and French sports authorities on this issue and addressing an INSEP conference in Paris 7-8 April.
