I am a graduate student looking to interview "out" lesbian college coaches for my dissertation. I'm having trouble finding enough participants, so any suggestions or contacts would be invaluable to me. I feel this is so important to do this work to help the heterosexist and homophobic environment of sport. Please help!! Thank you!!

As mentioned on another thread, Helen Carroll would be a good person to contact. She is a former national championship-winning women's basketball coach, and the coordinator for the homophobia in sports project for the National Center for Lesbian Rights. She is a public speaker (at the Outsports Convention, and many major panels) and knows many people in the coaching and athletics community. Profile.
