I saw the New Yorker cover when I got it in the mail! Does it mean that a gay NFL player may come out soon?
I haven't read this issue to see if there is any stories related to the cover. Sometimes there is a story inside!

I mentioned this last week in the pro football thread but I'm glad it's come back up again here.
They often don't have directly related articles for the cover art but I thought it was very positive to have the issue come up in such a high profile and intellectual magazine.
My BF who subscribes thinks the quality has declined somewhat with the change of editor. For him this cover will confirm that decline since he's sportsphobic.
