Just heard it from a friend in SLC - Chris Witty set ANOTHER world record just now.
Plus, Jim Shea, the guy who lost his grandfather last month, just won gold in the skeleton.
Woohooo!!!

The USA has gone well beyond the projection of 20 medals the USOC thought they'd get. Woo-hoo!

Apolo Ohno has just won gold after the Korean skater was disqualified. I am loving these Olympics! Sorry, CITT!!

It just seems that there is more and more monentum. Tomorrow (with some good fortune) we have a shot at multiple figure skating medals, women's hockey gold, men's GS gold (Bode Miller), women's curling bronze (never thought I would say that about a U.S. curling team), and possibly something more. It is amazing how far beyond expectations the team is competing. 20 medals was considered a very optimistic prediction by the USOC.

Re: Ohno's gold.
Kind of looked to me like a homer call against the Korean, with Ohno doing his best Cris Carter imitation to draw the flag. A tainted win.
