New York Gay Football League's Second Annual Bachelor Auction
 The
New York Gay
Football League is set to hold its Second Annual Bachelor
Auction Wednesday, Nov. 8, at Splash (50 W 17th St .) from 7 p.m. to
10 p.m. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the NYGFL and the
Ali Forney
Center, which finds housing for homeless gay youth in New York
City. The auction will be hosted by the league's very own Miss Beth
Israel and Misster Stephen Vellecca.
The league has been
in existence for two years and is already the second largest
gay-football league in the country, with 14 teams and 170 players.
The league's traveling team, the New York Warriors, won Gay Super
Bowl VI in Dallas. The league is hosting Gay Super Bowl VII in
October 2007.
