Outgames USA Registration Week

United States residents will have a special offer from April 29 to May 8, 2005 to register for the Montréal 2006 Outgames . They will  get a 10% discount off the regular registration fee for sport and cultural activities or for the International Conference on LGBT rights. It’s fast and easy! They just have to register online by May 8 to automatically receive their discount! Team leaders and coordinators or groups will also get some other special offers.

At the moment, Montréal 2006 has registered 4,000 people around the World in 82 different countries including Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Indonesia, Lebanon, Morocco, Cameroon and Pakistan, as well as China and India.

About 500 U.S. residents have already registered, which is on target with the projections and expectations of Montréal 2006 through April 2005. For the Special Registration Week, we have around 60 coordinators who will help on a volunteer basis in cities around the country. Regarding the conference, the GLAF (Gay and Lesbian Athletic Foundation) is an important partner of Montréal 2006 in the U.S.

Montréal 2006 has just announced that two news sports have been added to the competitions after the demand of a large number of teams around the World, especially in the States: handball and cross-country.

Also, Montréal 2006 just announced a new private partner: BCE (Bell Canada Enterprises), which becomes a partner-sponsor, one of the highest sponsoring levels.

The 1st Outgames, will be held July 26 to August 5, 2006. Just before the Opening Ceremonies, broadcasted by the mainstream national TV, an International LGBT Conference (July 26-29) will gather around 2,000 people.
