Outsports
Outsports has become a must-read for the mainstream
media dealing with issues of sexuality and sports. Outsports’
founders Jim Buzinski and Cyd Zeigler Jr. are regularly used as
sources by some of the top outlets in the media universe
Called an
“excellent online magazine” by the New York Times and a “hopping
website” by the Village Voice, Outsports won first-place in digital
journalism in 2003 from the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists
Assn. The competition was open to all media, not just gay websites.
