Reflections Of A Gay Athletic Director
It was just over two years ago that The Chronicle "outed" me. Give the folks there credit for getting the scoop, but I had decidedly mixed feelings about it. In July 2000, the University of  Hawaii decided to change the name and logo of their football team from the Rainbow Warriors to the Warriors because of the association with the gay rainbow flag.
