Our idea was for two gay guys to write about sports. Outsports first published in November 1999 with a one-page recap of that Sunday's NFL action. We had no idea whether anyone would read us, but somehow people started finding us and Outsports grew from there. We've come a long way to where we are now, but our goal hasn't changed -- being a gay athlete or gay sports fan is not an oxymoron.
