The 2004 Outsports Convention was held the weekend before Memorial Day in Philadelphia. About 25 participants came from all over the country (and Canada). Speakers included Helen Carroll from NCLR's Homophobia in Sports Project and local sports personalities.

Notable victories were by Joe In Philly who won the second annual trivia contest, beating out Eddie in "overtime," and the scavenger hunt team lead by PhillyRunner, who just edged out Joe's team. The group took in a Philadelphia Phillies game at the nifty new ballpark (the Phils, alas, lost to San Diego). All in all, it was an excellent time as these pictures will attest to.
