We like this pic from the 2000 Olympics showing Aussies Bill Kirby, Grant Hackett and Todd Pearson
during the 4x200 relay.

Ray Allen, Milwaukee Bucks
Allen is a key reason the Bucks have an excellent shot at
making the NBA Finals. He's among the league's best in 3-point
and free-throw shooting.
This
Buck can stop here.

Jaromir Jagr. Pittsburgh
Penguins
Jagr, the Pens' regular
season scoring champ, may miss Game 2 of the NHL playoff
series with New Jersey.

Oklahoma University
quarterbacks
Thanks to a reader for this shot of the Sooner QBs showing
off, including Josh Huepel (#14), who led the team to the
national title last year and was taken by Miami in the NFL
Draft.

Curt Clausen, race walker
Race walking is not a sport we feature much of here, but
you try walking 30 miles and never have any visible loss of contact
with the ground occur.
Walk
this way. (Editor's
pick 04/26/01)

Steve Nash, John Stockton, pro
basketball
Nash of Dallas and Stockton of Utah are two of the best
guards in the NBA. Nash is in his third year, while Stockton
has been playing since the Taft Administration.
Hey,
watch that left hand (Editor's
pick 04/25/01)
|
Blaine Wilson, gymnast
Wilson was one of the ``models'' in the Sports Illustrated
for Women swimsuit edition.
Even
the Bulgarian judge gives him a 10.
(Editor's pick 04/24/01)
|
Ryan Smyth, Dominic Pittis,
Edmonton Oilers
Smyth and Pittis will have a lot more time to sign
autographs now that the Oilers have been eliminated from the
Stanley Cup playoffs.
``Hey
Dominic, keep smiling or I'll blacken the other eye.''
(Editor's pick 04/23/01)

Reggie Miller, Indiana Pacers
Perhaps the best pure shooter of his generation, Miller
did it again Saturday in Game 1 of the Pacers' playoff series
against Philadelphia. Down by 2, less than 3 seconds left,
Cheryl's brother strokes a beautiful trey and the Pacers steal
one, 79-78. He said later that he always goes for the 3 on the
road.

Trent Green quarterback
Green was traded Friday from the St. Rams to the Kansas
City Chiefs. We're posting this for a couple of guys who think
Green is the best-looking player in the NFL.

Wally Szczerbiak, Minnesota
Timberwolves
The NBA playoffs open this weekend and Szczerbiak's
T'Wolves must play the top-seeded San Antonio Spurs. We're
kind of rooting for Minnesota so Wally's on the tube a lot.
Yes,
he really is a 10
(Editor's pick 04/20/01)

Michael Vick, quarterback
Vick, 20, from Virginia Tech, is expected to be the top
pick in the NFL draft. At least from this shot we like what we
see.
In
``shirts and skins'' we want him to be the latter
(Editor's pick 04/19/01)
|
Johnnie Morton, Detroit Lions
Sports Illustrated for Women is out with their current
crop of beefcake shots, but we send this one from last years
edition. Morton is a wide receiver with a great body.

Tim Hudson, Oakland A's
We like pics of athletes away from the field in different
settings. We found this one of Hudson, a pitcher, from an
article about an A's fan day.
He

Gabe Kapler, Texas Rangers
Sorry, this link no longer works :-(
(Editor's pick 04/16/01)
|
Brendan Shanahan, Detroit Red
Wings
Shanahan has been one of our faves for a while and we're
sorry he's out right now with a broken foot. But the Wings
should still have no trouble beating the Kings.
Nice
little scruff action going on there.
(Editor's pick 04/15/01)

Luke Toia, Luke Darcy, Aussie
football
Thanks to Brice for this. He wrote: ``I am so stunned by this 'pose' that I can't think of a clever caption.
It is just one of the most graceful displays I've ever seen in a rough and
tumble sport. To play this game without pads, or at least a helluva good
jockstrap, requires admirable courage or total insanity. Maybe both.''
Cool

Ed McCaffrey, wide receiver
We got jazzed seeing the NFL 2001 schedule today and
finding McCaffrey's Broncos open the Monday Night schedule.
It's possible that McCaffrey is the one jock we've seen who
virtually everyone raves about. Wonder why? He's only 6-5,
215, with a small waist, big arms and a great face.
Can
he get those pants or shirt any tighter?
(Editor's pick 04/13/01)

Carlos Delgado, Toronto Blue
Jays
A reader wrote with this plea: ``Will someone please do an article on Carlos Delgado and the Toronto
Blue Jays? Carlos is one of the sexiest players in baseball and he has
serious talent. And if that isn't enough, he has an incredible butt.''
Would you settle for a picture?

Eric Crouch, quarterback
Crouch of Nebraska is the subject of heavy conversation on
our Discussion Board. After seeing this pic we only wish
spring practice was nationally televised.
Sure

pick 04/11/01)

Troy Aikman, quarterback
(retired)
Aikman retired Monday after 12 seasons and three Super Bowl rings. He’s always been a huge favorite among gay
NFL fans for reasons both athletic and visual.
Sad

Tiger Woods, golf
Hard to ignore Woods' accomplishment, winning all
four majors in a row. To see him start crying on 18 was
touching.
An
ugly jacket but he's not complaining. (Editor's
pick 04/09/01)
|
Sergey Litvinov, bodybuilder
Sergey is 19 years old and hails from Omsk in Siberia.
We're suitably impressed.
We'll

Ivan Alonso, Spanish soccer
player
Alonso and his CD Alaves team whipped Germany's FC Kaiserslautern
in the first leg of the UEFA Cup semis. Ivan looks like he's
quite well put together.

Ivan's not terrible

Josh Hamilton, baseball
Hamilton is in the Tampa Bay Devil Rays organization and
is starting the season in the minor leagues. That hasn't
stopped the buzz from some readers.
We
have no idea what's written on his hand.
(Editor's pick 04/06/01)

Ontario, Canada, hockey
We received this from Ralph, a Canadian reader, who wrote:
``I'm tired of basketball photos, so I sent you a hockey
picture.''

Dathan Ritzenhein cross country
Nicknamed ``Ritz,'' this Michigan runner took the bronze
medal at last month's world junior race in Belgium. After
looking at this shot, who says cross-country runners aren't
tough?
His
name is mud (Editor's
pick 04/04/01)

Nate Hybl, Oklahoma quarterback
We received this submission from Ben, who wrote: ``Not the most revealing picture, but look at those arms! My god! And he looks cute under
that helmet (what little we can see).''
Boomer

pick 04/03/01)

Eugene Edgerson, Arizona
basketball
Edgerson and the Wildcats play Duke on Monday in the men's
NCAA final. Can't say we're thrilled the Afro look is back,
but Edgerson seems like a cool guy.
Shaft,
can you dig it? (Editor's
pick 04/02/01)
|
Mike Dunleavy, Duke basketball
We were watching the
NCAA Final Four on Saturday and when Dunleavy was shown there
was a radical split: One thought he was the best-looking guy
in college basketball. Another, in essence, would prefer Strom
Thurmond, shirtless. You decide.
