He signed sixteen year old 79 inch pitcher Michel Inoa, of the Dominican Republic, for $4.25 million dollars. I guess Mr.Bean thinks the kid will grow a couple of inches and make this deal look like a bargain. But I think he should have paid by the pound instead. Which would be at $20,238.10 per, at the time of Michel's signing.
