The first annual Marketing Women’s Sports Conference and Summit was a smashing success with representatives from many teams sports and associations attending. “Business cards were flying around, networking was being done and a great deal of business was started. Everyone was so amped that the energy level in the room was electric,” stated conference attendee, Stefani Godsey.

Keynote speakers Dawna Stone, owner of Her Sport and Fitness Magazine and USA Today’s Christine Brennan had the audience laughing, learning and motivated. “These two women are exceptional and to have them share their experiences with our group was simply awesome. From our panelists to the attendees to our sponsors and exhibitors, everyone who was in attendance came away inspired to greatness and I couldn’t be happier with the end results,” states organizer, Catherine Masters.
Here’s what some of the people who attended had to say: “It was an amazing event,” states Joe Manzo, President Brain-Pad. Jason Hummell, Fundraising Representative Green Bee Fundraising said, “I had a great time! I go to lots of conventions with thousands of people and they don’t produce as many clients as this conference did. It was definitely worth the money.” I was very impressed. I’ve been to a lot of conferences and it was great to have the two way conversations and to network. It was money well spent!” “What a great event! The information was wonderful and the speakers were phenomenal. I’ll definitely attend next year,” states Kim Hawkins GM EZ-TIXX. “This was an awesome conference. I feel like I found that missing piece to the puzzle for media and sponsorships,” states Jeanette Nord of the Minnesota Vixens women’s football team. “It was a wonderful conference with a diverse and eclectic group of high energy professionals. I’ll be back next year for sure,” states John Ertman Vice President Hicks Partners, LLC.
Plans are already underway for the 2nd conference as well as other events designed to bring the people involved in women’s sports together.
