Condolences to New Orleans Saints fans -- Sports Illustrated picks the Saints to win the Super Bowl, a sure sign the team is destined for a lousy season. Last year, the SI braintrust picked Miami and Carolina to be in the Super Bowl and neither team made the playoffs. SI tabs San Diego to lose to New Orleans in this season's Super Bowl.
Meanwhile, ESPN.com has picks from its 16 "experts," and 10 of them pick New England to win it all (none took the defending champion Colts to repeat). So much for Cyd hoping the Pats could play the no-respect card.
I might as well throw my pick out there for others to scoff at: the Super Bowl will feature the Indianapolis Colts vs. the Philadelphia Eagles, with the Colts winning their second in a row. --Jim Buzinski
