After an inquiry by New York attorney general Andrew Cuomo, Ticketmaster and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quickly lifted their ban on selling tickets to non-Florida residents, allowing Giants fans to buy tickets to Sunday’s playoff game in Tampa.

When I checked Ticketmaster earlier this evening, tickets were still available for the game, as were tickets for the San Diego Chargers’ playoff game against Tennessee. Apparently quite a few tickets were left as I was able to request 4 tickets in a row for both games. I thought the NFL was the most popular sports league in the known universe. Why aren’t these games sold out? — Joe Guckin
